The clinical studies show the effectiveness of EFA® technology as airways clearance treatment and support for pulmonary rehabilitation. Compared to PEP technique, both works demonstrate a significant improvement of the MIP. Moreover, lung volumes and encumbrance sensation are significantly improved in acute conditions; gas exchanges, peak cough expiratory flow, and walking test performance significantly increase in stable disease condition.
