The administering, by Free Flow device, of heated and humidified high-flow air, possibly enriched with oxygen, allows comfortable and controlled oxygen therapy and adequate ventilatory support, as well as ensuring the fluidification of bronchial secretions. The humidification therapy is complementary to the incorporated EFA^® technology, that supports muco-ciliary clearance by facilitating the mobilization and removal of secretions in a non-invasive way.
