KALOS, new generation cough assist

Kalos is the innovative cough assistant designed to provide an optimal solution in the management of tracheobronchial secretions.

With the aim of providing support to remove pulmonary secretions in a non-invasive way, avoiding the use of traditional aspiration systems and reducing the risk of infections and discomfort of adult and pediatric patients, Medical Products Research has developed a device that integrates different tools to ensure safe and effective airway clearance.

KALOS allows to estimate the peak of cough flow and to carry out a targeted and customized respiratory rehabilitation treatment, combining the common cough assistance, with excellent performances and a large range of settings and functions, with the other integrated therapeutic modalities.
In particular, the use of the patented EFA^® technology (Expiratory Flow Accelerator) allows the mobilization and removal of secretions through the sole action of flows, increasing patient comfort, without generating positive or negative pressures in the airways.
