The I/E mode of the TPEP®One device was used in an interesting rehabilitation program dedicated to patients with Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma.
The study is the first to investigate the feasibility of a comprehensive rehabilitation programme in this population.
Results suggest that combined intervention including educational therapy, therapeutic exercise and pulmonary rehabilitation may have promising effects on slowing functional decline and improving quality of life.
The use of TPEP® devices allows a tailor-made therapy and promotes self-treatment at home, enabling the monitoring of performances and adherence thanks to data collected during sessions.
