I/E mode physiotherapy for people recovering from COVID-19. Preliminary feasibility study

A study recently published in Panminerva Medica describes the benefits of using TPEP^® – I/E MODE for COVID-19 patients immediately after hospital discharge. The authors chose our device to promote active recruitment of the deep lung and manage parenchymal inhomogeneity after the acute phase of the disease.
The results showed that the “I/E MODE”, used for 15 days in patients with post-COVID and mild-to-moderate obstructive syndrome, contributed to the improvement of pulmonary function tests as well as respiratory muscle strength, exercise capacity and quality of life.
